What is Review Reply?
Review Reply - Smart AI Responses is a Chrome extension that generates an editable management response to a guest review. It adds an RR button beside the platform's own Reply or Respond action on Google Business Profile, Booking.com Extranet, Expedia Partner Central and Tripadvisor for Business. Click a review, and the extension drafts a reply in your chosen tone and language.
It is not an auto-poster. The draft stays editable, Truth Check guidance flags claims the review text does not support, and the reply is submitted only when you click the platform's own Post reply button. A review the extension cannot read in the page, such as a Chrome Web Store review, is pasted into its panel and drafted the same way, then copied out for you to paste by hand.
An RR account and plan apply. The extension stays inactive on unrelated pages and fails closed when it cannot verify a supported review surface.
Workflow
How does Review Reply work in three steps?
The extension keeps a person in the loop from the first draft to the final submit.
Click RR on the review
Open a supported review page and click the circular RR icon beside the native Reply or Respond button. On Tripadvisor, expand an unanswered review first. The extension reads only that review's context on the page.
Edit the draft and run Truth Check
The reply appears in your chosen workspace — a Chrome side panel, a toolbar popup, or an in-page card. Adjust the wording, switch tone or language, and run Truth Check to flag unsupported details, unverified promises, and missed complaints.
Post with your own click
When the reply reads the way you want, click Post reply. The final click fills the platform's own response field and submits its native form. Nothing is posted without that action.

No auto-posting
Nothing is submitted without your explicit click on the platform's own Post reply button. Posting on the Chrome Web Store is not possible for any extension, so that path only drafts and you paste the reply in yourself.
Truth Check before you publish
Truth Check reviews the draft for claims the review text does not support, unverified promises, and confident language that does not match the review. If findings remain, posting needs a second Post anyway click.

What happens to your data?
Review Reply sends only what you deliberately select or paste through an RR action: the review text, the displayed or typed reviewer name and rating, your reply settings, and a platform label — the review hostname, or the fixed label manual for a pasted review. This goes over HTTPS to the Reputation Systems API at rr-api.reputationsystems.ai, and only after you ask for a reply.
The private 30-day session credential is stored in chrome.storage.local and sent only by the extension's background service worker; the server stores just its SHA-256 hash. Disconnecting asks the service to revoke the session and then clears the local connection data.
Review data is not sold, not used for personalized advertising, and not used for creditworthiness or lending. Processing follows the Chrome Web Store Limited Use requirements. Read the privacy and security summary or the full policy at rr.reputationsystems.ai.

Why not just auto-reply to every review?
Auto-replies read as robotic and can misstate a guest's experience. Review Reply keeps a human in the loop: it drafts, Truth Check flags claims the review text does not support, and you edit before posting. That is slower to publish than a script, but it protects your voice and avoids publishing a wrong promise.
What data does Review Reply send, and when?
Only after you invoke a reply action, it sends the selected review text, the displayed or typed reviewer name and rating, your language and tone settings, and a platform label to rr-api.reputationsystems.ai over HTTPS. It does not sell data or use it for advertising.
Does Review Reply read my whole browsing history?
No. Its content script runs on the approved review hosts so it can recognize a supported review surface, but review information is sent only after you deliberately invoke a reply action, click a recognized review, or paste review text into the extension's panel.
Do I need a paid account to use Review Reply?
Yes. An RR account and plan apply. Clicking the extension's login button starts a ten-minute pairing request, and the session lasts 30 days and can be renewed. Reply generation is subject to the limits and pricing of your RR plan.
Can I choose the tone and language of a reply?
Yes. Every draft can use one of three tones — Professional, Friendly or Casual — and a reply language that is matched automatically to the review or picked from 29 languages. These settings are saved in the extension and applied to the next draft.
