Booking.com review reply with AI
Review Reply adds an RR button beside the native Reply action inside the Booking.com Extranet. It drafts a reply for the guest review you select, you edit it and run Truth Check, then you post through the Extranet's own reply form with your own final click.
Answer first
How does Review Reply work on Booking.com?
Review Reply - Smart AI Responses drafts an editable management response to the Booking.com guest review you select in the Extranet. Because Booking.com rejects some characters, the extension requests no emoji and cleans the displayed draft and final response of apostrophes, ampersands and common unsupported symbols. It expands common English contractions and replaces ampersands with a word appropriate to the selected language when known.
How do you reply to a Booking.com review step by step?
- Open the guest review you want to answer inside the Booking.com Extranet.
- Click the circular RR icon beside the native Reply action to draft a response for that review.
- Review and edit the draft, run Truth Check, then click Post reply to submit through the Extranet's own reply form.
What it reads
What Review Reply reads on this page
The extension reads only the review you select.
- Reviewer name. The displayed name on the guest review you chose.
- Rating. The star rating shown with that review.
- Review text. The body of the review you selected.
- Rating-only reviews. A review with a rating and no text still drafts. The extension sends the fixed label Rating-only review together with the rating and reviewer name instead of inventing guest text. A card with neither a rating nor a reviewer name fails closed.
Posting
How does posting work on Booking.com?
Click Post reply and that final click fills the Extranet's own response field and submits its native form. Before you publish, Truth Check reviews the draft for unsupported concrete details, unverified promises, missed clear complaints and confident language mismatches. If findings remain, posting needs a second Post anyway click. Nothing is posted without your explicit final action.
FAQ
Booking.com review reply questions
Does Review Reply post Booking.com replies automatically?
No. It never posts on its own. Every path ends with your own final click on the Extranet's native Reply button, which fills and submits Booking.com's own reply form. If Truth Check still finds unsupported claims, posting needs a second Post anyway click, so a reply is never published without you.
Why does the Booking.com draft avoid emoji and symbols?
Booking.com does not accept every character. The extension requests no emoji and cleans the displayed draft and final response of apostrophes, ampersands and common unsupported symbols. It expands common English contractions and replaces ampersands with a word appropriate to the selected language when known, so the text is ready for the Extranet.
Where does the RR button appear on Booking.com?
It appears beside the native Reply action on a guest review inside the Booking.com Extranet. Click the RR icon to draft a reply for that review; the extension reads its reviewer name, rating and review text. The reply then opens in your chosen workspace, ready to edit and run through Truth Check.
What happens with a rating-only Booking.com review?
It still drafts. The extension sends the fixed label Rating-only review together with the rating and reviewer name, instead of inventing guest text. A review card with neither a rating nor a reviewer name fails closed, so nothing is drafted from empty input.
