How does Review Reply work on Google Business Profile?
Review Reply - Smart AI Responses drafts an editable reply to the Google review you select. It works in the review list at business.google.com/reviews, where it reads each row's reviewer name, rating and review text and posts through that row's own Reply or Edit editor. It also works in the Search owner-review dialog when that dialog is visible with recognized review markup and response controls. The /search URL alone never enables the extension, and unfamiliar markup fails closed.
How do you reply to a Google review step by step?
- Open Google Business Profile and go to the review list at business.google.com/reviews, or open the owner-review dialog from Google Search.

Posting
How does posting work on Google?
Click Post reply and that final click fills the row's own Reply or Edit editor and submits Google's native form. Before you publish, Truth Check reviews the draft for unsupported concrete details, unverified promises, missed clear complaints and confident language mismatches. If findings remain, posting needs a second Post anyway click. Nothing is posted without your explicit final action.

Does Review Reply post Google replies automatically?
No. It never posts on its own. Every path ends with your own final click on Google's native Reply button, which fills and submits the platform's own editor. If Truth Check still finds unsupported claims, posting needs a second Post anyway click, so a reply is never published without you.
Where does the RR button appear on Google reviews?
It appears beside the native Reply action in the review list at business.google.com/reviews, and in the Search owner-review dialog once that dialog is visible with recognized review markup and response controls. It also works beside an already-open reply editor when the extension can associate that editor with exactly one review.
What happens with a rating-only Google review?
It still drafts. The extension sends the fixed label Rating-only review together with the rating and reviewer name, instead of inventing guest text. A review card with neither a rating nor a reviewer name fails closed, so nothing is drafted from empty input.
Can Review Reply read every Google layout?
No. Search-dialog support is verified with semantic fixtures and the installed extension, not a capture of every live Google layout. Unfamiliar markup fails closed and requires live verification before support is claimed, so the extension leaves a page it cannot confirm rather than guessing.
